Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'm not sure what to do to fix it but I'll take a look at the scripting.
I'm probably going to keep the game in the same state it was in for the game jam for posterity's sake, but once I figure out what's wrong I'll make sure it doesn't happen for any future escape rooms.

Another bug, if you open the inventory while in the inventory it duplicates items.
ah, that's unfortunate :( thank you for letting me know. This one I probably do know how to fix for future games.
nine out of ten times [esc] doesn't close the code panel
